I used to think of business cards as only something that people with high corporate jobs had. That was, until I started several businesses online and always found a need to give information when meeting up with other people.

Face it, if I give you my URL when we’re visiting hours later when you’re home will you remember it? No! But I need to you. To make an extra sale or to get you opinion left right here on my blog.

So when the need came about, I started purchasing and designing my own business cards online.

After I received my first order of business cards that I made online there was a story on the Today show about “Mommy business cards” where stay at home Moms were creating cute and colorful business cards to hand out at play dates.

Moms, you know. When you have an antsy 2 year old hanging at your side you’ve got no time to find a pen and write down a phone number. Plus, out of all the Moms that you meet on a play date do you always remember their names AND their kids names? Again, no! But if you had a Mommy business card, you would.

But, step outside of the box for a minute and think too that business cards can be used for much more than giving information! Think of alternative ideas to use printed business cards for:

• Hangtags
• Nametags
• Luggage Information
• Greeting Cards of Gift Baskets
• Tickets to an Event
• Coupons for your WAH site

The options are unlimited.

What about taking a double sided business card and using one side for your work at home business information and the other side to promote the great coupon codes available to first time buyers at your site?

There are so many options for business cards the limit is only your imagination!
