ABC: C & E
After more than a year, I’ve decided that I really miss doing the ABC’s of Life and there is no better day than today for me to pick it back up!
Today, there are 2 letters: C and E. They stand for Count Your Blessings and Express Thanks.
Sure, there are many things to be thankful and plenty of blessings in my life. I just wish that I could continually express these things without needing a day like the ever popular Thanksgiving to be able to say them all. This is why continually working on my ABC’s of Life will help me.
I could write long drawn out paragraphs on these letters.
Perhaps write a short story for each letter.
But, I think I’ll stick with what I do best… I’ll write some lists!
People:
• Joanne: have I ever said how wonderful she is? Oh my God, totally the love of my life.
• Zadey: Sorry, no child is more precious than my own.
• Mindy: God, she puts up with so much from me. From the bad mood to the OCD, she hears it all, takes it all in, and at the end of the day is still my best friend that loves me for WHO I am and not WHAT I can (or can’t) do.
• My Parents: All 3 of them…each mean so much to me for so many reasons. And after one tough year I’m especially thankful that they are all alive and still with me offering their support, advice, and love. Dad, Step-Mom, Mom
• 3 Brothers, 3 Sisters: They’re amazing and each have different qualities and quirks that I love and drive me insane… Steve, McKay, Doug, Morgan, Cameron, and Nikki (my sister-in-law)
• 6 Nieces, 1 Nephew: When I thought I’d never be a Mother, they were all that I had. Today, they’re still as precious to me as they were before Motherhood came. They’re so awesome and a true joy to watch grow up!
• YOU: For reading, coming back, leaving comments, sending e-mails, letting me know that you’re here and paying attention. Because this site, all this work for my blog… it means nothing without you coming by.
Things:
• Home: it’s humble but it’s warm and a nice place to be.
• Car: Most of you know I’m in love with car. And even though it’s almost a year old now, it still rocks even with the 13,000 miles I’ve put on it. Ahhh it’s so cute and special!
• Las Vegas: I swear this city keeps me sane! I love living here, I love the lights, the sounds, the smells, the people, the strange laws, the crazy Mayor, the night life, the fireworks, the parties, the airport, the streets, the terrible drivers, everything… I’m never moving again!
• Money: Hey, I’m not broke and for that I’m thankful and blessed!
• Blogging: It’s been such an outlet for me in every since of the meaning. From ranting and raving to bitching and complaining, this has so been my spot.
• Working at Home: Which allows me to actually raise my own child instead of sending her off to a daycare.
• PC & Laptop: My computers so rock. They’re little lifelines for me and for that it’s expanded my world, changed my opinions, connected me to life lessons, friends, and knowledge.
• Coffee, Pepsi, & Monster: For providing me with the caffeine each and every day to keep me going, working, and chasing the baby!
There’s the short list, I’m sure there are more but that’s enough for me for me to share.

Hallo! How wanderful to write such a topic! Yes! The ABC of life ( actually I also have topic under ABC labels, but compare to urs, urs is so much better )! A very good seria! Have a nice day!

I agree with the Thanksgiving comment. I feel that so many people only think about all that they are thankful for on that one day. I feel thankful quite often… not sure what sets me apart from others… but I think people should be more aware all year ’round.

Becky » Thanksgiving is often the only time many people express being thankful. I tend to lean on what I do have every day but don’t openly share that with those that I should.
