I’m Blogging That is For Sale!
Well, my writing has decreased significantly and my life has changed…. especially within the last week.
So, here’s a quick story.
Last Wednesday my sister called from Texas and told me she had to move… NOW! The best solution was for me to hop in a rental truck and drive to Texas (with Joanne) overnight to pick up her and her kids and bring them back. So I was on the road from Friday 9/12 to Wednesday 9/17.
We loaded everything into the rental truck that we could take. Leaving behind A LOT of my sister’s personal belongings and proceeded to drive back to Las Vegas. Meanwhile, my daughter is in California with my Mother and our car. She met us back in Las Vegas on the following Wednesday where we unloaded my sister and her two children into my 2 bedroom apartment.
Can you imagine the sight? We’re 20lbs of potatoes in a 5lb bag where previously my family lived quite comfortably.
Yesterday we secured a house for us to move into this weekend.
It’s crazy.
But in the meantime, I realized that what I miss the most is blogging and writing my life — talking about something other than what I enjoy doing but what I am doing. The realization came to me back in May when I purchased the domain name UneditedLife.com and anticipated starting a personal journal. From there the idea has been evolving and has turned into somewhat of a fascinating obsession for me. And though this new site is not open yet and my life is CRAZY — that’s where my heart is.
So, it’s with some joy that I tell you that I’ve decided to move on from I’m Blogging That by selling this blog and starting myself out on a new adventure. Both in blogging and life as my sister and her family will be residing with us for at least the next 2 years.
If you’re interested in the purchase of I’m Blogging That, please contact me or email me at Katy[at]imbloggingthat.com.
Should the site not sale, I’ll make an announcement when the new blog opens and I’m Blogging That will remain here for content purposes only.
My deepest appreciation to all my readers, supporters, and those who have followed along in my blogging adventure.

I really don’t know what to say. It’s bad news cause you won’t be updating it, but it’s good news that you found a new adventure.
Good luck with both, selling and starting your new blog! Hopefully, you’ll get a good price for “I’m blogging that”, cause it’s well worth it, and also, the new owner will take good care of it.

I believe you have a premium domain name, so you may want to think about listing it on an auction site. Or, if you want to hang on to the name for a bit longer, why not turn the whole thing into a CafePress store and sell shirts and mugs that say, “I’m Blogging That”?

Wow sorry to hear that.
Whatever happens I hope it all works out for you and your family.
Not to make a joke cause I’m sure it was a serious situation
But I wish I knew you were coming and leaving Texas I would
of went with you.
I like that cafepress idea
Best wishes whatever happens

Katy - Sorry to see this blog go but I guess you gotta do what you gotta do, right?
Anyways, I’m curious on how much you’re looking to sell it for? And also, I’d be interested in seeing some stats if you don’t mind.
Let me know!

Hi,
I’ve been only a new kid on the block where this blog was concerned, but I’m sad to see it go too.
On the other hand, already looking forward to the new one. Do please keep me posted when it goes live.
Wish you all the best in the meanwhile!
Cheers,
Max

I must say I was getting concerned that you had not written in a while! Although I will miss your insightful posts, I am so happy you are following your dream. Take care of yourself and let us know what’s happening. I actually listed my site for sale a few weeks ago FYI :-) but it’s a secret. I too feel like moving on and finding new adventures, but I am tied to inventory :-(
I wish you and your family all the best!

Agree with Flipper ^ you may have a premium domain and you might want to look at sitepoint for a bit more guidance and best of luck
