Race for Rank is coming to an end with all my goals completed. Let’s sum it all up now with things that did and did not work for me, how you can improve your own ranks across the board, and discuss what could have done differently to achieve greater success.
Many blogs give the option to “subscribe to follow-up comments” when you’re posting a comment to the blog. This is a great option because it allows visitors to create a comment community, have discussions, and interact with the blogger themselves. But a new web application gives way to a better way to keep track of comments.
You’ll notice that I spend a lot of time giving you “how to” tips. If I didn’t, it wouldn’t be part of I’m Blogging That’s tagline. What I have never really talked about is how to make money with your blog. If you’re interested in that question, there’s thousands (and I do mean thousands) of blogs out there that are going to give you that answer.
Have you ever been sitting at a moment of transition with your blog? You know, that moment when you know you’re not doing something right or what used to be working for you no longer is? That feeling of “I know what I’m doing but am I really doing it?”
Almost every social networking site caters to all blogging niches. However, some of those sites cater more to specific niches. If you’re blogging about pets and you’re targeting a social networking site that loves blogs about blogging, you’re missing the boat for your wave of traffic.
Recently I realized that I had put a lot of my blogging priorities on the back burner while I struggled to handle blow by blow situations in real life. For the last few months things have been quite interesting for Joanne and I. And while she and I are just as good as ever, life hasn’t been so kind.
At some point or another we all write one of those posts that will quickly become dated, not relevant, or no longer useful to our readers. Typically, this type of post carries very relevant information at the time they are written and from my experience become top performers.
Like most bloggers, I count on social networking sites as a means to promote my blog and my best content. I have very few goals when it comes to networking other than to gain sustainable visitors from people who enjoy my content.
